University Dedicates New Ambulance for Service and Mission
“This ambulance will be mean and an avenue in which people will be served,” VP Student Services Pastor Julio Amurao emphasized during the dedication of the new Ambulance of the AUP Health Services Department on March 8, 2024. Pastor Amurao signified that this ambulance would “serve and save people, not just physically but—spiritually.”
Under the initiative of the University Administration, the VP of Finance, Mrs. Aileenmae Silverio, expressed the Administration’s support for the need for an ambulance that can serve both on-campus residents and the neighboring community of the University, which is necessary for operations.
AUP Health Services Director Dr. Elmer Valenzona assured that this ambulance will be “full of prayers,” acknowledging the spirit workforce of the Lord. On behalf of the University Health Service Department, he expressed his sincerest gratitude to the Administrators for supporting the need for this service. He also announced Mr. Marc Manalili as in-charge of the Emergency Medical Services, especially catering to emergency response services of the ambulance.
VP Student Services Pastor Amurao, VP Finance Mrs. Aileenmae Silverio, Auxiliary Services Head Mr. Wedrick Ian Rodelas, and AUP Health Services Director Dr. Elmer Valenzona cut the ribbon at the ambulance’s inauguration. Pastor Amurao administered a commitment prayer and blessing.
