Work Scholarship Program
This scholarship allows students to work in exchange for tuition and fees, residence hall rent, store coupons, and cafeteria meals, making higher education accessible and affordable.

- The number of academic units to be enrolled is subject to approval by the Director of Student Finance (DSF), depending on the student’s current outstanding balance.
- The number of work hours assigned is based on the Finance-approved hours allocated for each department.
Living Arrangements
Category 1: Work Scholars’ Residence Hall
Benefits:

Breakfast, lunch, and dinner. (Monitors are assigned to prepare two dishes, and each student is responsible for cooking their rice.)
Cafeteria load for Sabbath lunch

Notes:
1. They shall not be charged laundry fees; therefore, they must do their laundry.
2. God’s Abundant Basket will support work scholars who live in work scholars’ dorms.
3. Maximum no. of work hours for all work scholars is 40.
Category 2: Non-Work Scholars’ Residence Hall

Cafeteria load of P3,600 per month for meals

Notes:

Category 3: Off-Campus/Faculty and Staff Residence

Note: Minimum of 20 hrs and maximum of 25 hrs, maximum of 15 units, minimum of 9 units.
Why Join the Work Scholarship Program?
Work experience. Those who graduate at AUP and were work scholars receive work experience credits when they apply to AUP for employment.
Value formation. To instill in young people the dignity and blessing of work, and the values of diligence, thoroughness, honesty, wise management of time and resources, initiative, faith, trust, respect, humility, industry, obedience, self-control, and many others.
Application Process
• Get Application Form from the Student Welfare Office
• Eligibility criteria include:
a. Demonstrated financial need
b. Commitment to fulfilling both academic and work-hour requirements
c. Adherence to University policies and standards.
Application Deadlines
• For the First Semester: 2 weeks before the classes begin
• For the Second Semester: 2 weeks before the classes begin
• For the Inter Semester: 2 weeks before the classes begin
Academic Scholarship Program
It is a grant awarded to Filipino students based on their academic performance. It is aimed at supporting their education at AUP.

Eligibility Criteria
• The applicant must be a Filipino citizen.
• The applicant is certified by the school principal to be a valedictorian (Rank 1) or salutatorian (Rank 2) or its equivalent.
Application Process
• Apply for scholarship at the Student Welfare Office.
• Complete the Scholarship Application Form available at the Student Welfare Office.
• Submit the required documents within 10 days before the start of the registration period.
1. Certification of Ranking – Issued by the school principal, indicating the applicant’s rank based on the total number of graduating students
2. Program Curriculum – A copy of the curriculum or course outline for the chosen degree program at AUP
3. Form 138 (Report Card) – Official high school report card showing academic performance
Conditions
1. Scholars are required to render return service as follows:
• Regular semester: 40 hours
• Inter-semester: 12 hours
2. Scholars must maintain a minimum GPA of 3.75 with no grade below C+. The scholarship covers only one degree program. Additional courses for double majors or dropped/repeated courses must be paid by the scholar.
3. Scholars must uphold the mission, philosophy, and objectives of the University and actively participate in its programs.
4. Scholarships are subject to review every term. Failure to meet the minimum GPA or conduct standards may result in forfeiture.
5. Scholars must attain a grade of at least Satisfactory in the Work Education Program. Work Education will be considered as a return service for academic scholars.
6. Scholars must attain a grade of at least Satisfactory in the Student Convocation.
