
Adventist University of the Philippines and SUMOK EDU CO., Ltd. Sign Partnership to Enhance International Education
In a significant move towards fostering international academic collaboration, the Adventist University of the Philippines (AUP) and Sumok Edu. Co., Ltd. (SUMOK) has inked a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) to increase the presence of South Korean students at the University on February 26, 2024.
AUP President Dr. Arceli Rosario extended a warm welcome to SUMOK for their vision to increase the number of students who are citizens of South Korea in the University by promoting the University’s campus-based undergraduate programs, graduate, and medical programs.
SUMOK CEO Yong Ho Choi echoed Dr. Rosario’s remarks and enthusiasm for the educational partnership. Development Communication Chair Dr. Juvy Lou Bhattrai served as the ceremony interpreter.
In-House Legal Counsel Atty. Gizelle Fugoso led the signing process and facilitated the agreement’s formalization, symbolizing both parties’ commitment toward shared objectives. Following the ceremonial signing, key stakeholders elaborated on the contents and cooperation plan outlined within the MOA, especially for medicine programs and allied health education.
