Nov 9, 2022

“The Bayanihan spirit is very much alive in AUP!” exclaimed a visitor, as he saw the administration, faculty, staff, and students working together to clean and beautify the campus on Oct. 23 and Nov. 6, and to fix the damages caused of typhoon “Paeng.” Groups composed of the six barangays on campus namely, Dahilig, Tabing-Ilog, Masaya, Centro, Matiaga, and Kalat-kalat led by their respective captains were assigned in strategic places in the campus for cleaning, painting, clearing roads of tree branches and repairing. Dr. Robert Borromeo, Vice President for Finance, rode the manlift to clean the AUP gate facade, which was a highlight of the event. Dr. Rosario, the AUP President led the group bursting with laughter at the gym. Others helped pack donated relief goods in the Philippine International Church (PIC) for flood victims led by Pastor Lanie Esteves, Church Pastor and Ma’am Jazel Diaz one of the AUP Chaplains. The food service department provided refreshment while other barangays added provisions for potluck. Many thanks from the administration to all those who took part in the event.
