A significant milestone was achieved as the Adventist University of the Philippines (AUP) and Adventist Hospital Cebu (AHC) formally sealed their partnership through a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) Signing Ceremony at the Conference Hall of Adventist Hospital Cebu, San Nicolas, Cebu City on June 4, 2026.

The agreement officially launches the AUP–AHC MBA Offsite Program (Batch 1), which will commence this First Semester of the academic year 2026–2027. This collaborative initiative reflects the shared commitment of both institutions to promote academic excellence, leadership development, and professional advancement among healthcare professionals and employees in the Visayas region.

Representing AUP was Dr. Lualhati P. Sausa, the AUP College of Business dean, while Adventist Hospital Cebu was represented by its administration, led by Dr. Evelyn Pepito, the AHC president, and Mr. Keth Asahel Rosario, AHC vice president for finance. The signing ceremony symbolized a strong partnership aimed at making quality graduate business education more accessible to working professionals.

Following the MOA signing, an orientation program was conducted for prospective MBA students. Participants were introduced to the program’s objectives, curriculum structure, admission requirements, flexible learning modalities, and unique opportunities. The orientation also provided a venue for prospective students to interact with AUP representatives and gain a clearer understanding of how the program can help enhance their leadership and management competencies.

The enthusiastic response from hospital personnel and prospective students marked a promising beginning for the inaugural batch. This partnership demonstrates the commitment of both AUP and Adventist Hospital Cebu to invest in human resource development and prepare servant leaders who can make meaningful contributions to their organizations and communities.

As AUP continues to expand its graduate education outreach, the launch of the AHC–AUP MBA Program is another testament to its mission to provide Christ-centered, high-quality education that transforms lives and empowers professionals for greater service.
