Kaloh Receives 2025 Most Outstanding International Student From PIFUA
Evan Johanes Kaloh, president of the AUP International Student Association was awarded the title “Most Outstanding
International Student in the Philippines” by the Philippine International Friendship and Understanding Association, Inc.
(PIFUA) during the 52nd Annual Search for the Most Outstanding International Students in the Philippines held at the Baguio Crown Legacy Hotel on November 20, 2025.
The proclamation rites were conducted as part of the 6th International Conference-Training for International Students,
Student Leaders, and Advisers (ICTISSLA), held on November 19–21, 2025. The event gathered delegates and finalists from top universities nationwide: Silliman University, St. Louis University, De La Salle-Health and Medical Sciences Institute, Ateneo de Davao University, Centro Escolar University, University of Baguio, University of Cebu, Lyceum of the Philippines University-Batangas, among others, to celebrate global citizenship, leadership, and cross-cultural understanding.
Kaloh also received two additional recognitions: the Community Leadership Award and the International Friendship Award. These awards honor his contributions to service, collaboration, and multicultural engagement.
Representing AUP’s International Student Association, Kaloh shared that this milestone deepened his commitment to serve as an example and source of inspiration for fellow international students, especially Indonesians.
“We hope to continue building meaningful connections with other international students in good faith,” Kaloh stated,
expressing gratitude for the opportunity to represent his community and University through connections with other international students from different universities.
