Board Topnotcher Danielle Ardeza Gives Glory to God’s Grace in Her Journey
Danielle Ardeza, alumna of the Adventist University of the Philippines, brought pride and inspiration to the AUP community as she clinched the Top 5 spot in the August 2025 Psychologist Licensure Examination. Her success is not only an academic milestone but also a testimony of perseverance, humility, and God’s sustaining grace.
Having previously topped another board exam, Ardeza prepared with confidence while also creating a companion journal that guided reviewees through study strategies, reflections on well-being, and Bible verses. Many found encouragement through her testimony, which pointed them to God’s comfort and strength.
Her path, however, was marked by challenges. Balancing work, and studies tested her focus and determination. Yet in her journey, she shared looking back, “it seems simple, but at the time, it felt overwhelming. Things didn’t suddenly become easy after that session, but I started to give myself more grace and depend more on God.”
This perspective shift became her turning point. “On days when I could hardly study, instead of condemning myself, I chose to thank God for the effort I was still able to give. Through this process, I realized that God was teaching me not only lessons about psychology but also deeper lessons about His grace,” she testified.
Beyond knowledge and skills, Ardeza’s story reflects the values of faith, resilience, and humility. “In a way, I saw it as God reminding me that it is He alone who makes everything possible,” she said. “In a way, I saw it as God reminding me that it is He alone who makes everything possible,” she reflected.
As AUP continues to uphold its vision of preparing graduates who excel in both competence and character, Ardeza’s achievement becomes not just a personal victory but an inspiration to the entire community, an enduring witness that true success is grounded in God’s grace.
