Visa-Related Information
Do I need a Student Visa to attend AUP?
Yes. You will need to process the conversion of your Temporary Visitor’s Visa (TVV; Tourist Visa) into a student visa, immediately upon your arrival to the AUP campus along with the necessary documentary requirements that is available through the Foreign Student Unit of the AUP Records and Admissions Office. More information here.
What are Visa-Required Countries, and how does this affect my admission to AUP?
You can find here the list of Visa-Required Countries. Based on this list, applicants from these countries must first secure entry visas from the Philippine Embassy/Consulate in the country of origin, securing the necessary permissions and other necessary immigration approvals. AUP, through its Foreign Student Unit, can assist by providing other documentation such as Notice of Admission (NOA), which will require notarization and logistics, thus will be processed for a fee. We recommend that applicants from these countries apply two to three months before the posted start of classes because of the time element needed to process immigration-related documents. E-mail us through admissions@aup.edu.ph for more details.
