IMG Serves Zambales Communities
The Indigenous Mission Group (IMG) conducted a mission trip in Barangay Buhawen and Barangay Aglao, San Marcelino, Zambales, on December 19-28, 2025. The outreach covered eight villagesโAglao, Navan, Faustina, Camalca, Sayasay, Tikes, Bayarong, Lumibaoโacross two barangays and aimed to provide holistic ministry addressing spiritual, physical, and social needs of indigenous communities.
The mission activities included house-to-house visitation, childrenโs ministry, health education lectures, worship services, nightly evangelistic meetings, and community fellowship activities. Essential services such as feeding programs, clothes distribution, and gift-giving were also provided to families in need. Through these efforts, the mission reached 491 families and engaged 240 children in values-based and faith-oriented programs. A total of 53 individuals accepted Jesus Christ during the concluding evangelistic meetings.
The mission was carried out by a team of 86 missionaries composed of AUP students, faculty, staff, alumni, and partner volunteers. This initiative reflects AUPโs commitment to Christ-centered service, community engagement, and the integration of faith and action in addressing the needs of underserved communities.
