Shining Together in Love: TSSS Celebrates Anniversary with Benefit Concert
by Rowena Imelda Ramos
The Singing Sunbeams Society (TSSS) marked another meaningful year of music and ministry with an anniversary benefit concert titled “Shining Together in Love,” held at the Philippine International Church on December 12, 2025. The event brought together children, parents, alumni, church members, and friends of the ministry for an evening of praise, reflection, and service.
The anniversary program featured a rich selection of hymns and sacred music performed by the TSSS Choir, Ukulele Ensemble, Strings Ensemble, parents, and alumni, alongside a special collaboration with Soli Deo Gloria. The concert concluded with a joyful rendition of Jesus Wants Me for a Sunbeam, reflecting Christ’s love through kindness, obedience, and joyful service in everyday life at home, at school, and in the community. More than a song, it is a call to live out faith by shining God’s light to others, a message that continues to guide the ministry’s mission of serving together in love.
More than a celebration, the concert served as a benefit event supporting a Mission Trip to the Mangyan community of Gloria, Oriental Mindoro. Through this outreach, TSSS seeks to extend its ministry beyond its stage, sharing hope, compassion, and God’s love with underserved communities.
As the melodies echoed through the sanctuary, the message of the evening was clear: shining is not meant to be done alone. Through unity, service, and love, the Singing Sunbeams Society continues to inspire young hearts to use music as a gift for God and a blessing to others, truly shining together in love.
