The College of Nursing won the 3rd place in the Research Poster Presentation at the National Convention of the Philippine Nurses Association at the SMX Convention Center, Lanang, Davao City on October 21–23, 2025.

The poster entry, presented by Dr. Beryl Mergal, College of Nursing faculty, was based from the study on Dr. Blecenda Varon, Dr. Beryl Ben Mergal, Eliza Onei Fadul, Janrie Genovea, Krizia Lynn De La Cruz, Cherub Lauren Padilla, and Alexa Diane Sangalang. The study, enti- tled, “Effect of a 2-Week Lifestyle Intervention Program on the High Sensitivity C-Reactive Protein Among Individuals With and Without Morbidities.”

Among 70 entries submitted nationwide, 52 posters were selected as finalists, representing nurses from various universities, colleges, and hospitals across the Philippines. The convention gathered more than 3,800 participants nationwide, making this recognition a meaningful testament to AUP’s pursuit of academic excellence, service, and research.
