The Adventist University of the Philippines – College of Education is seeking a passionate and qualified faculty member who will also serve as the Coordinator of the Center for English Language Learning (CELL). This dual role requires dedication to teaching, program coordination, and the advancement of English language learning, while remaining committed to the mission and values of Adventist education.  Key Responsibilities:

• Teach professional education and English-related courses.
• Oversee the Center for English Language Learning (CELL) programs and initiatives.
• Mentor future educators and support English language proficiency development.
• Integrate Adventist faith and values in teaching and coordination tasks.

Competencies Required:

• Subject Expertise – Strong knowledge of general education subjects, supported by a solid understanding of educational theories and effective teaching methodologies.
• Instructional Design and Delivery – Ability to plan and implement effective, student-centered lessons that prepare pre-service teachers for real-world classroom settings.
• Faith Integration – Commitment and skill in embedding Christian and Adventist values into course content, modeling holistic and values-based education.
• Mentorship and Professionalism – Capacity to guide, support, and inspire students in their academic and professional formation as future educators.

 Qualifications:

✔ PhD in Education, major in Curriculum and Instruction (preferred).
✔ Master’s degree in English Education or TESOL (required).
✔ Bachelor’s degree in Secondary Education major in English, or AB English with cognate in English/TESOL (required).
✔ Training and experience in e-learning and technology-enhanced instruction.
