The Adventist University of the Philippines Academy (AUPA) inaugurated its new landmark on September 25, 2026. The ceremony brought together donors, administrators, faculty, staff, and students to witness the unveiling of the structure outside the Academy.

“[It is] Another blessing. Welcome with great joy and happiness,” stated Mrs. Sharon Perdon, AUPA principal, describing the occasion as another blessing for the Academy.

The landmark, donated by Dr. Jeimylo and Kyna De Castro, represented more than a physical addition to the Academy. It reflected the family’s continuing support for Adventist education.

Dr. De Castro centered his message on God’s continued provision and faithfulness because“God will never stop His blessings.” He added that they never ran out because God will bless, “for His faithfulness is real,” emphasizing his conviction that God provides for the needs of His people. He also encouraged the AUPA students to remember the institution when they have opportunities to give back. “When your turn comes, think about AUP,” he said. He further encouraged the community to approach life and service with a spirit of abundance rather than scarcity. He concluded with a reminder of trust in God: “The point is God will provide.”

The ceremony included the unveiling of the landmark and the formal recognition of the donation through the signing of the deed of donation. The gathering gave the University an opportunity to acknowledge the partnership and generosity that contributed to the AUPA’s continuing development.

Dr. Arceli Rosario, AUP president, expressed gratitude for the De Castro family and their generosity toward the AUPA. Reflecting on the significance of the occasion, she said, “We should be OA (overacting) because our gratitude is overflowing.” She urged the University to have a spirit of stewardship: “Live sacrificially, give joyfully.”
