He affirmed God\u2019s sustaining grace to the Medical Laboratory Science Department in his message during the Sabbath worship services on July 8, 2023, at the Philippine International Church.<\/span><\/p>\n Aligned with the anniversary\u2019s theme, the Sabbath services centered around God\u2019s sustaining grace for the Department. During the Sabbath School program, three registered medical technologist (RMT) alumni shared their stories of how the Lord had sustained them throughout the years.<\/span><\/p>\n Ivan Garcia, RMT Batch 2007, owner and chief medtech of Quarter Moon Clinical Laboratories, spoke about his experience and journey as a medtech student. He highlighted the pivotal role played by the exceptional teachers molded by AUP in guiding students like him. Another esteemed alumna, Ritzel Joyce Gabat, RMT Batch 2018, a medtech at Adventist Medical Center, Bacolod, shared her profound belief in God\u2019s guidance that prepared her for her necessary work. She asserted that \u201cAUP is not just a quest for higher learning but a ground for selfless service.\u201d Lastly, Shadrach Federico Aldovino, RMT Batch 2016, conveyed their batch\u2019s prayerful unity as fellow medtechs, celebrating their remarkable achievement of a 100 percent passing rate in the licensure exam. He encouraged everyone with the words, \u201cMay we be willing in doing God\u2019s work.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n In a meaningful gesture, Ms. Yanna Yvonne Macayan, chair of the MLS Department, acknowledged the medtech alumni and students by donning a pin symbolizing their renewed commitment to the values that have guided them for seven decades. \u201cLet us celebrate this extraordinary milestone with thankfulness to God.
