by Jeruel Iba\u00f1ez<\/em> Nearly 50 alumni of the Adventist University of the Philippines (AUP) serving in the Central Luzon Provinces Mission (CLPM) officially organized the AUP Alumni CLPM Chapter and elected its pioneer officers during the mission’s regular workers’ meeting at the temporary CLPM headquarters in Barangay Balibago, Angeles City, on July 7, 2026.\u00a0<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Attended by AUP alumni alongside pastors and church workers from across the mission, the gathering marked another milestone in the\u00a0Philippine Union College\u2013Adventist University of the Philippines National Alumni Association (PANAA) ‘s ongoing effort\u00a0<\/span>to strengthen alumni engagement and deepen graduates’ connection with their alma mater.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Elected to serve as the chapter’s pioneer officers were Pastor Laudimer Gatus as president, Pastor Marlon Sacdalan as vice president for religious affairs, Pastor Joey De Ocampo as vice president for social affairs, Pastor Benjie Fabellar as secretary, Mrs. Winnie Manlungat as treasurer, and Pastor Bonifacio Itcoy as public information officer.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Pastor Glenn Lagabon, PANAA president, administered the oath of office and led the formal organization of the chapter, emphasizing the importance of a strong and active alumni network in promoting unity, collaboration, and continued support for the mission of the Adventist University of the Philippines. Jeruel Iba\u00f1ez, PANAA public information officer, facilitated the election of officers, while Dr. Robert Borromeo, PANAA treasurer, offered the dedicatory prayer, committing the newly elected leaders and the chapter to God’s guidance and service.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Formation of the CLPM chapter is part of PANAA’s ongoing initiative to establish alumni chapters across local conferences, missions, and church institutions where AUP graduates serve. Through these chapters, alumni are encouraged to strengthen friendships, build professional and ministry partnerships, mentor future graduates, and support programs that advance Christian education.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n As the third PANAA alumni sub-chapter, the CLPM chapter represents another step toward reconnecting AUP graduates in the field and inspiring them to work together in advancing the mission of the Church and their alma mater.
