Outperforming the 30.83% national passing rate, the AUP College of Business (COB) secured an exceptional 60% passing rate for first-time takers and 54.55% overall in the May 2026 Certified Public Accountants Licensure Examination (CPALE).<\/span><\/p>\n The newly certified public accountants bringing honor to the institution are Kane Kia Castillano, Kristine Joy Celda, John Nemie Conferido, Leslie Ammiel Fadriquela, Shira May Mendoza, and Ni\u00f1o John Sabuero.<\/span><\/p>\n “New CPAs, your achievement is the result of countless hours of study, sacrifice, perseverance, and faith. May you continue to uphold excellence, integrity, and Christian values as you serve the accounting profession and society,\u201d the COB commended the passers.<\/span><\/p>\n Adding encouragement, Dr. Reuel Narbarte, a former professor member in the Accountancy Department and former Human Resource director of the University, expressed gratefulness for AUP\u2019s shared blessing. \u201cCongratulations to all our new CPAs from AUP! Your hard work, sacrifices, and faith really paid off. Getting a 55% passing rate is a true blessing, especially since the national passing rate is just around 30%. You made the AUP community so proud!\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n Turning his heart toward those who did not make it this time, Dr. Narbarte offered deeply comforting words, urging them not to lose heart. \u201cRemember that God\u2019s delay is not His denial,” Dr. Narbarte shared. \u201cTrust in His perfect timing and providence, <\/span>dahil siguradong may mas magandang plano Siya sa inyong future<\/span><\/i> (because He surely has a better plan for your future). Let this be a temporary stepping stone to lean more on Him, learn from the experience, and bounce back stronger. Re-take the challenge with renewed faith!\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n Narbarte also issued a rallying cry to the current faculty and future batches of AUP accountants to view these results as a foundation to build upon.
