The position supports the daily functions of the Motorpool Department and contributes to the overall safety, reliability, and efficiency of the University\u2019s transport services. The role requires a service-oriented, safety-conscious, and technically skilled individual who upholds the values of the Seventh-day Adventist Church.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>As Driver:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Operates University vehicles to transport students, employees, and guests safely and on time<\/li>\n<li>Drives for official school trips, errands, events, and other transport-related assignments<\/li>\n<li>Ensures proper documentation of trips through logbooks or trip tickets<\/li>\n<li>Performs basic vehicle checks before and after trips (fuel, oil, water, tire pressure, etc.)<\/li>\n<li>Maintains cleanliness and orderliness of assigned vehicles<\/li>\n<li>Ensures compliance with traffic laws and University policies at all times<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>As Mechanic:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Performs regular preventive maintenance on University vehicles (e.g., oil change, brake checks, engine tune-up)<\/li>\n<li>Diagnoses mechanical issues and performs minor to moderate repairs<\/li>\n<li>Maintains accurate records of maintenance and repair work done<\/li>\n<li>Reports major vehicle problems and coordinates with external repair service providers when needed<\/li>\n<li>Ensures availability of basic tools and parts for quick repairs<\/li>\n<li>Assists in monitoring vehicle registration, insurance, and emission test compliance<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Male, preferably at least a high school graduate or vocational course completer in automotive servicing or related field<\/li>\n<li>With valid Professional Driver\u2019s License (Restriction Codes 1, 2, 3; 123 or equivalent under the new DL system)<\/li>\n<li>At least 2 years of driving experience, preferably in a school or institutional setting<\/li>\n<li>Physically fit, alert, and dependable<\/li>\n<li>Willing to work flexible hours, including weekends or holidays as needed<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>How to Apply:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Submit the following documents:<br \/>\n\ud83d\udcc4 Cover Letter<br \/>\n\ud83d\udcc4 Updated CV\/Resume<br \/>\n\ud83d\udcc4 Medical Certificate<br \/>\n\ud83d\udcc4 Psychological Test Result<br \/>\n\ud83d\udcc4 Pastor\u2019s Recommendation<\/p>\n<p>\ud83d\udce7 Send your application to recruitment@aup.edu.ph<br \/>\n\ud83d\udcc5 Deadline: July 18, 2025<\/p>\n<p>Be part of a team where your skills, faith, and commitment to service can shine!<\/p>\n<p><em>\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Adventist University of the Philippines We Are Hiring!
