This position is designed for a mission-driven individual who is passionate about mentoring young women, supporting their spiritual and emotional growth, and contributing to their overall well-being while living on campus. Working closely with the Residence Hall Dean and student monitors, the Assistant Dean helps uphold the values and standards of the University and the Seventh-day Adventist Church within the residence hall community.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Assists in the management and supervision of dormitory operations and student conduct<\/li>\n<li>Provides spiritual, emotional, and social guidance to residents<\/li>\n<li>Coordinates and participates in residence hall worships, devotionals, and wellness programs<\/li>\n<li>Supports conflict resolution and student discipline in a redemptive, Christlike manner<\/li>\n<li>Collaborates with the Residence Hall Dean, student monitors, and student leaders on residence hall activities.<\/li>\n<li>Monitors the cleanliness, safety, and orderliness of the residence hall<\/li>\n<li>Responds to emergencies and maintains a visible presence in the residence hall<\/li>\n<li>Encourages student involvement and leadership within the residence hall community<\/li>\n<li>Maintains accurate records of student concerns and disciplinary actions<\/li>\n<li>Upholds and promotes the values and standards of the Seventh-day Adventist Church<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Qualifications:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s degree in education, psychology, guidance counseling, theology, or related field<\/li>\n<li>Preferably with master\u2019s degree in guidance and counseling<\/li>\n<li>Significant experience of at least 2 years in dormitory management or student services<\/li>\n<li>Strong interpersonal and communication skills<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>How to Apply:<\/strong><br \/>\nSubmit your application, including the following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Cover letter<\/li>\n<li>Updated CV\/resume<\/li>\n<li>Transcript of Records (TOR)<\/li>\n<li>Medical Certificate<\/li>\n<li>Psychological Test Result<\/li>\n<li>Certifications (e.g. Basic Counseling Skills Training, First Aid and CPR Certification, Leadership and Supervision Certification (TESDA or equivalent))<\/li>\n<li>Seminars Attended<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\ud83d\udce7 Send your application to recruitment@aup.edu.ph<br \/>\n\ud83d\udcc5 Deadline: September 26, 2025<\/p>\n<p>Be part of a team where your skills, faith, and commitment to service can shine!<\/p>\n<p><em>\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Adventist University of the Philippines We Are Hiring!
