If you are dedicated to preparing future educators and committed to the principles of Adventist education, we invite you to apply and be part of our Christ-centered academic community!<\/p>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Teach professional education and major-specific courses in the Secondary Education program, ensuring alignment with CHED standards and Adventist educational philosophy.<\/li>\n<li>Design and deliver instructional plans that cultivate pedagogical skills, subject mastery, and values-based teaching practices among future educators.<\/li>\n<li>Foster a Christ-centered and learner-focused classroom environment that encourages reflective teaching, collaboration, and ethical professionalism.<\/li>\n<li>Assess and support student progress through diverse evaluation tools, academic advising, and mentoring in both coursework and field experiences.<\/li>\n<li>Model integration of faith and learning in all instructional activities, and actively participate in departmental initiatives, faculty development, and university programs.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Competencies Required:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Subject Expertise \u2013<\/strong> Strong knowledge of educational theories, teaching methodologies, and the subject area of specialization in secondary education.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Instructional Design and Delivery \u2013 <\/strong>Ability to plan and implement effective, student-centered lessons that prepare pre-service teachers for real-world classroom settings.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Faith Integration \u2013 <\/strong>Commitment and skill in embedding Christian and Adventist values into course content, modeling holistic and values-based education.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Mentorship and Professionalism \u2013 <\/strong>Capacity to guide, support, and inspire students in their academic and professional formation as future educators.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><strong>Qualifications:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u2714 PhD in Education with specialization in Curriculum and Instruction (Required) \u2014 A PhD in a related field may be accepted only if the Master\u2019s degree is in Curriculum and Instruction.<br data-start=\"249\" data-end=\"252\" \/>\u2714 Teaching License (LET Passer) (Required)<br data-start=\"298\" data-end=\"301\" \/>\u2714 Master\u2019s Degree in Education with specialization in Curriculum and Instruction (Required) \u2014 A Master\u2019s degree in a related field may be accepted as long as the PhD is in Curriculum and Instruction.<br data-start=\"508\" data-end=\"511\" \/>\u2714 Strong Christian values and commitment to Adventist education.<br data-start=\"579\" data-end=\"582\" \/>\u2714 At least five (5) years of teaching experience in basic education (K\u201312).<\/p>\n<p><strong>How to Apply:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Submit the following documents:<br \/>\n\ud83d\udcc4 Cover Letter<br \/>\n\ud83d\udcc4 Updated CV\/Resume<br \/>\n\ud83d\udcc4 Medical Certificate<br \/>\n\ud83d\udcc4 Psychological Test Result<br \/>\n\ud83d\udcc4 Pastor\u2019s Recommendation<\/p>\n<p>\ud83d\udce7 Send your application to recruitment@aup.edu.ph<br \/>\n\ud83d\udcc5 Deadline: <strong>Extended<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>About the Role: The Adventist University of the Philippines \u2013 College of Education is seeking a passionate and qualified faculty member for its Secondary Education Department.
