The Adventist University of the Philippines Elementary Department is looking for a caring, creative, and dedicated kindergarten teacher who can provide a safe and engaging learning environment for young learners.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Plans, prepares, and delivers developmentally appropriate and engaging learning activities for kindergarten pupils.<\/li>\n<li>Fosters a warm, nurturing, and Christ-centered classroom environment that supports the holistic development of children.<\/li>\n<li>Promotes foundational skills in literacy, numeracy, communication, creativity, and social interaction.<\/li>\n<li>Monitors and assesses student progress and provides regular feedback to parents and guardians.<\/li>\n<li>Collaborates with fellow teachers, parents, and school administrators to support student learning and well-being.<\/li>\n<li>Upholds the mission, vision, and values of the Adventist University of the Philippines.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Competencies Required:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Early Childhood Education and Instruction<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Demonstrates strong knowledge of early childhood education principles and the K\u201312 curriculum for kindergarten.<\/li>\n<li>Applies age-appropriate, child-centered, and play-based teaching strategies.<\/li>\n<li>Integrates biblical values and character-building activities into classroom instruction.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Classroom Management<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Establishes positive routines and classroom procedures appropriate for young children.<\/li>\n<li>Creates a safe, caring, respectful, and engaging classroom environment.<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrates patience, empathy, and effective behavior guidance strategies.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Assessment and Child Development<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Uses appropriate assessment tools to monitor children\u2019s developmental and academic progress.<\/li>\n<li>Identifies learners\u2019 needs and provides timely support and intervention when necessary.<\/li>\n<li>Communicates student progress effectively with parents and guardians.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Communication and Collaboration<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Maintains positive relationships with students, parents, colleagues, and administrators.<\/li>\n<li>Works collaboratively with the school community to support student development and school activities.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Technology Integration<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Utilizes educational technology and multimedia tools appropriate for young learners.<\/li>\n<li>Supports responsible and guided use of technology in the classroom.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><strong>Qualifications:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u2714 Bachelor\u2019s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field (required)<br \/>\n\u2714 Master\u2019s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field (required)<br \/>\n\u2714 Valid PRC Teaching License (required)<br \/>\n\u2714 Experience in teaching kindergarten or early childhood learners is an advantage<br \/>\n\u2714 PhD degree (preferred)<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><strong>How to Apply:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Submit the following documents:<br \/>\n\ud83d\udcc4 Cover Letter<br \/>\n\ud83d\udcc4 Detailed CV outlining work experience, academic qualifications, research, and publications<br \/>\n\ud83d\udcc4 Copies of academic certificates and transcripts<br \/>\n\ud83d\udcc4 Medical Certificate<br \/>\n\ud83d\udcc4 Psychological Test Result<br \/>\n\ud83d\udcc4 Three recommendation letters \u2014 two from previous administrators\/supervisors and one from a church administrator<\/p>\n<p>\ud83d\udce7 Send your application to: <a href=\"mailto:recruitment@aup.edu.ph\">recruitment@aup.edu.ph<\/a><br \/>\n\ud83d\udcc5 Target Start Date: June 1, 2026<\/p>\n<p><strong>Note:<\/strong> Only shortlisted applicants will be notified and invited for an interview.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We Are Hiring!
