The role involves lesson planning, classroom management, student assessment, and the integration of Christian and Adventist values in teaching. The teacher collaborates with colleagues to support holistic student development in alignment with the institution\u2019s mission.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><strong>Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Delivers quality instruction in Social Studies subjects such as history, geography, economics, culture, and civics<\/li>\n<li>Prepares lesson plans, instructional materials, and hands-on learning activities<\/li>\n<li>Assesses and monitors student performance and provides timely and constructive feedback<\/li>\n<li>Manages classroom behavior and maintains a positive, inclusive learning environment<\/li>\n<li>Integrates Christian and Adventist values into teaching practices and student interactions<\/li>\n<li>Encourages students to develop social awareness, civic responsibility, and appreciation for diverse cultures and perspectives<\/li>\n<li>Coordinates with faculty and administration regarding academic and student concerns<\/li>\n<li>Actively participates in school programs, events, and professional development activities<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><strong>Competencies Required<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Subject Matter Expertise<\/strong>\u2013 Demonstrates strong knowledge of Social Studies disciplines including history, geography, economics, government, and culture, and effectively relates lessons to current events and real-world contexts.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Instructional Delivery<\/strong> \u2013 Demonstrates the ability to facilitate engaging, learner-centered instruction that promotes critical thinking, research, discussion, and collaborative learning.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Faith Integration<\/strong> \u2013 Demonstrates the ability to integrate Christian and Adventist values into practical lessons, classroom interactions, and student formation.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Communication and Facilitation Skills<\/strong> \u2013 Communicates technical concepts clearly and effectively while guiding students through structured, step-by-step learning and collaborative activities.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Classroom and Workshop Management<\/strong> \u2013 Maintains a positive and organized classroom environment that supports discipline, inclusivity, student engagement, and academic growth.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><strong>Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u2714 Bachelor\u2019s Degree in Secondary Education major in Social Studies or related field<br \/>\n\u2714 Licensed Professional Teacher (LET Passer) \u2013 Required<br \/>\n\u2714 Master\u2019s Degree in Education or related field \u2013 Preferred<br \/>\n\u2714 Teaching experience in Social Studies or
