What is ETEEAP?
The Expanded Tertiary Education Equivalency and Accreditation program (ETEEAP) is an educational assessment scheme which recognizes knowledge, skills and prior learning obtained by individuals from non-formal and informal education experiences. Adventist University of the Philippines is one of the five (5) institutions of higher learning in Region IV authorized by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) in the area of education, nursing, computer science, and accountancy to accredit individuals’ actual achievements towards the conferment of an earned degree under the Expanded Tertiary Education Equivalency and Accreditation Program (ETEEAP).
Who may Qualify?
An ETEEAP candidate must meet the following qualifications:
- Filipino, at least high school graduate or must have PEPT equivalent to first year college.
- Has at least five (5) years of work experience related to the degree sought.
- Must be at least twenty-two (22) years old; and
- Able to show evidence of capability and thorough knowledge through the following evidences:
- Certificate of Proficiency issued by the government regulatory board.
- Certificate of Proficiency issued by the employer(s).
- Certificate of Proficiency issued by a licensed practitioner in the field.
- Business registration.
What are the Admission Requirements?
- Endorsement from CHED
- High school card/Form 137A/Transcript of Records
- Certificate of Employment with job descriptions
- Authenticated Birth certificate/affidavit of birth
- Comprehensive Resume
- Proficiency Certificate by:
- Government regulatory board
- Licensed practitioner in the field
- Business registration
- Certificates of training and workshops completed
- NBI/Barangay clearance
- Recommendation letter from immediate superior
- Personality assessment
- Other documents or evidence of capability and knowledge in the field applied for equivalency and accreditation
- Accomplished ETEEAP application form
How the degree/diploma is awarded?
- Submit duly accomplished ETEEAP application form from CHED (Downloadable from CHED Website). Secure CHED’s endorsement. The ETEEAP application form can also be secured at the address below:

- Submit required documents for evaluation
- If qualified, you will undergo competency assessment and validation by a panel of assessors.
- Attend supplementary courses
- Submit for final evaluation
- Awarding of degree (as earned)
