AUP Granted Autonomous Status by CHED

 

Pursuant to the provisions of the 1987 Philippine constitution, which assert that, the state shall “exercise reasonable supervision and regulation of all educational institutions” (Sec. 4, Article XIV); in accordance with the pertinent provisions of Republic Act No. 7722, otherwise known as the “Higher Education Act of 1994”; in view of the implementation of CHED Memorandum Order No. 46 Series of 2012 titled “Policy-Standard to Enhance Quality Assurance in Philippine Higher Education Through Outcomes-Based and Typology-Based QA”; and by virtue of the Commission en Banc Resolution No. 192-2016, the Commission hereby grants autonomous status by evaluation to Adventist University of the Philippines for a period of three years from April 1, 2016 up to May 31, 2019.
